The Ratings

Here at MovieSmack we like to keep it "simple." By simple I mean straightforward.  So our rating system won't contain the standard numbers you would see on other review type sites. Instead were going with catchphrases! (Note: Our older videos do contain the number system but the host was just a newbie at the time so don't hold against us).

It goes as Follow

Must Watch/Must Own - This is the highest honor MovieSmack can bestow a movie. This rating says this film has a chance to become a classic and should be seen by all. 

Rush to see it-  This means you should see this film as soon as possible in the theater preferably. 

See it- A film that receives this rating is film that is definitely worth your time.

Watch it Later- Films that receive this rating is a middle of the road film. You can wait for this to come on TV or rent it at the Redbox, just don't bother paying top dollar for it.

Skip it- This film isn't worth your time or your hard earned money.

Burn it- While we don't condone the burning of any art the film that receives this rating may be the exception. Its so bad it shouldn't exist on this plane.
